Chi Pet is a simple Dashboard widget that represents a growing plant.

The concept is inspirited by a real plant, Chia Pet. This widget brings this concept to your Dashboard, and even more.

Chi Pet needs water in order to survive. If you click the water button, then the plant will be fed for three days. In fact the plant grows every three days.

Besides the being a plant 'functionality', Chi Pet can do some more tricks like speaking phrases that you can define into a list, or it can hibernate.

When the plant grows you can give it a haircut. This operation makes sure that the widget won't take up all of your precious Dashboard space.

Pluses: it gives you a nice way to spend your spare time from time to time.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: from time to time you just need some useless applications to keep you disconnected. Chi Pet is that kind of application suitable for plant lover but not only.
